Undertone is a design company run by, me, Jordan Garrett. Well, it isn't really a company, but more like a hobby. It started in my senior year of high school. I was taking web design as an elective and discovered that I really liked creating websites and messing around with Photoshop. Sometime during the end of the first semester, I decided to make a name out of my stuff, so I chose undertone. I never actually got started until I graduated in May 2009.

The slogan for undertone is "beyond". To me, beyond is everything. I have always been told that I should go "above and beyond", but never understood how much "above and beyond" I should go. "Beyond" gets rid of the above, and goes further. There are no limits in "beyond", which means I can do anything with my art.

You may have noticed that the name, undertone, is always lower-cased, with the exception of the beginning of sentences. Eventually, someone will ask, "Why is it lowercase?" I decided to do this because it looks cooler than Undertone. That uppercase "u" just irks me for some reason...
